Leverage Your Expertise for Impact
Don't Just Volunteer. Invest.
Future Climate Collective is built on professional rigor.
We are looking for mentors and strategists to serve as the connective tissue between student ambition and real-world execution.
Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned professional, your expertise is the essential infrastructure of our mission.
FCC Fellows (Undergraduates & Recent Graduates)
As a recent graduate or current student, you are the essential link between classroom theory and professional practice. Whether you are driving impact in the field or building the systems that power our movement, you are the high-capacity talent that moves our Logic Model from paper to reality.
The Field Path: Work in the trenches with high school teams. You’ll guide students through the "Idea Lab" process, vetting their logic and ensuring their resilience projects are ready for the real world.
The Operations Path: Work behind the scenes as a strategic intern. You’ll power the FCC engine by managing communications, scaling our technical infrastructure, and coordinating the logistics that allow our collective to grow.
Your Investment: Directing project execution, facilitating student workshops, or architecting our organizational operations.
Your Return: Hands-on leadership credentials, a deep network of industry professionals, and a portfolio of tangible community impact or organizational scale.
Where Expertise is Needed
We offer two distinct tiers of engagement based on your professional experience and availability
FCC Pros (Climate & Industry Professionals)
For the established professional, we offer a high-leverage opportunity to invest your expertise where it creates the most systemic value. Whether you are stress-testing a student’s technical data or advising the Collective on organizational strategy, you provide the professional vetting that ensures our impact is both scientifically sound and ready for institutional scale.
Project Advisory: Act as the "technical bar" for our students. You’ll guest-judge Climathons, vet student project data, and provide 1-on-1 briefings to the Student Leadership Team to ensure their policy proposals are bulletproof.
Operational Advisory: Serve as a strategic consultant for the FCC. You’ll advise our leadership on scaling the model, building municipal partnerships, and refining the "connective tissue" that makes our programs possible.
Your Investment: Providing specialized technical vetting, guest-judging strategic pitches, or advising the FCC on governance and growth. Your Return: Direct influence on the local talent pipeline and a high-status platform to scale your impact by empowering the next generation of climate architects.
Commitment Levels
Choose the pace that matches your professional schedule:
The Sprint: Mentor a team during a 48-hour Climathon.
The Deep Dive: Guide a cohort through a semester-long Impact Program.
The Advisory: Provide high-level strategy to our Student Leadership Team on an as-needed basis.
