Fall in Love with the Future. Empowering Local Climate Action: Education, Policy and Practice
We are excited to announce the opening event for PNW Climate Week here in Portland. Join Future Climate Collective, Lewis and Clark Law School and its Green Energy Institute, as well as Electrify Oregon for a day of “Empowering Local Climate Action: Education, Policy and Practice.” The events will take place at Lewis and Clark College’s Fowler Student Center, and will include a visioning session, a series of panels and workshops, a keynote speaker, and a reception.
Future Council: A WCS + FCC + PNW Climate Week Screening & Youth Panel Discussion
Join Women in Cleantech and Sustainability (WCS) and Future Climate Collective (FCC) for a documentary screening and moderated panel. Part of Pacific Northwest Climate Week, this event begins with a screening of Future Council, a documentary following youth climate activists. Following the screening will be a moderated panel highlighting local youth voices in conversation with community members and civic leadership.
